At its heart is the question of what makes the contemporary challenge posed by civil war so different to that of past periods - and what, if anything, is new about the contemporary experience of civil war at the dawn of the twenty-first century.

Worlds Torn Asunder is the third album by the American thrash metal band Warbringer, released on September 27, 2011 via Century Media. A merciless, brutal thrash metal attack that begins strong with its kickstarter "Living Weapon" and ends just as strong with the closer "Demonic Ecstasy", Worlds Torn Asunder is surely an album you cannot miss if you admire the new wave of Thrash, even if in the least sense of the word.

Warbringer's debut album is thrash metal at its best. With fast crunchy guitar riffs, awesome screaming vocals (kinda like Exodus'), amazing guitar solos, and great drumming.

This 1987 production signifies experimental guitarist David Torn's second effort for Germany-based ECM Records. Here, the artist exhibits a sound, style, and methodology that are clearly his own, amid superb support by Bill Bruford (drums), Tony Levin (Chapman Stick/bass), and Mark Isham (trumpets). Torn generates gobs of excitement via his cunningly articulated phraseology, while also incorporating North African and East Indian modal concepts into these power-packed performances, fabricated upon climactic opuses and steamy crescendos.

After a decade in the business playing with Yes, King Crimson, Genesis and UK, Bill Bruford's first solo album finds him going in the jazz direction his career would eventually exclusively become. The music on this album was written between January and June 1977 rehearsed for three weeks and recorded and mixed at Trident Studios in London, August 1977.

Symphonic Black Metal | Label : Cacophonous Records

This album contains the original recording of the band's second album from 1995 with the The Principle of Evil Made Flesh-lineup. Since the band did not like the result and the relationship with their then label (Cacophonous Records) got bad, they decided to not release it. Some members left Cradle of Filth to form The Blood Divine, while the rest plus new members recorded V empire… or Dark Faerytales in Phallustein, that was released instead of Dusk… and her Embrace via Cacophonous Records. In 1996 Music for Nations released the re-recorded version of Dusk… and her Embrace with the new lineup.

The music on "Oceanarium" is entirely instrumental, densely orchestrated, and has a wide variety of instruments, including cello, trumpet, bass clarinet, flute, saxophone, hammered dulcimer, banjo, mandolin, violin, oboe, and trombone, in addition to the usual keyboards, guitars, bass, and drums. Although many musical styles are included, the end result probably fits nicely under the label "symphonic prog"…
