8Dio Shepard Tones is a sample library dedicated to the highly popular Shepard Tones. The library contains over 10GB of block-buster grade Shepards – designed by 8Dio’s masterful sound designers and Academy, T.E.C and G.A.N.G Award Winning Producer, Troels Folmann.

The Qanun (Kanun) is a plucked string instrument. It is a type of large Zither/Psaltery with trapezoidal soundboard and common in traditional Middle Eastern, North African and West Asian music. It is regarded as a classical instrument in most of the Arab world and Turkey (kanun). The history of the Qanun is somewhat sparse, but earliest versions of the instrument go back to 10th Century Egypt.

The Santur, Santouri, Santour or Santoor is a hammered dulcimer (sort of an ancient Cimbalom) of Babylonian origin, currently played in several countries around the Balkans, Middle East and Eastern Europe.

8Dio Aura Tonal Exotic Studio Percussion – for Kontakt VST-AU-AAX is used an advanced technique called, Groove Sampling™ that allows you to create hyper-realistic percussive grooves with a single touch of a key. Groove Sampling is a proprietary method developed by 8Dio and is currently patent pending. There is no going back after this.

8Dio Studio Sopranos mark the beginning of a new generation in choir sampling. The sound flows from intimate and detailed to soaring and epic. Produced by Emmy Nominated composer, Colin O’Malley, the Studio Sopranos instrument was created with 9 sopranos, recorded in separate “divisis” of 3. Composers have individual control over each of the 3 divisi groups, offering great flexibility in section size and character.
